Today, we are incredibly proud to share that Westra Materials has been awarded €6.5 million in blended funding from the European Innovation Council EIC Accelerator under Horizon Europe.
The funding includes €2.5 million in grant financing and €4 million in equity investment to accelerate the industrial scale-up of our breakthrough conductive material.
Through our project, we are replacing PFAS-based PVDF binders with the first scalable conductive binder that combines binding and conductivity in a single material.
With EIC support, we will scale production, advance industrial qualification with leading battery manufacturers, and strengthen Europe’s value chain.
