Alex has been part of Westra for most of the year and works as a Laboratory Technician, supporting our R&D team with the development and optimisation of our products. His role is varied and flexible, with tasks ranging from large-scale synthesis to smaller tests depending on the team’s needs.
He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Analysis Engineering from Linköping University and brings experience from several laboratory environments, including quality assurance within food production, analytical chemistry at the Swedish National Board of Forensic Medicine, and academic research.
In addition to his laboratory work, Alex also contributes to a safe working environment at Westra by authoring standard operating procedures and acting as one of the company’s safety representatives.
